SHEN GONG’s Project in Saudi Arabia Officially to Launch on November 18

  On the eve of the G20 Summit, the grand launch ceremony of SHEN GONG (Saudi) Plastics New Materials and Electro-Optical Industry Manufacturing Base Project (hereinafter referred to as "SG Saudi Capacity Cooperation Project") was held in Jubail, Saudi Arabia at 10 am on November 18th, 2020.

  Abdullah Al Sadaan,the President of the Saudi Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Chen Weiqing, the Chinese Ambassador to the KSA. jointly attended the launch ceremony. Gui Feng, the Chairman of the Shen Gong Group and relevant senior officials from Guangzhou, Yinchuan and other Chinese cities also joined and addressed this ceremony remotely.

  At the launch ceremony, SG also respectively signed MoUs with the Saudi Committee and Saudi Silk Road Industrial Company.This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Saudi Arabia, and is also a historic moment for Saudi Arabia to host the G20 Riyadh Summit. Despite the impact of the epidemic, SHEN GONG Group, with the support of two governments and departments concerned, actively engaged in the project and spared no effort to coordinating and tiding over difficulties, because of which this event pulled off eventually. As the bridgehead of the industrial capacity cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia, SHEN GONG’s project can better the synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and the Vision 2030 of Saudi Arabia, and help lead the output of domestic capacity, blaze a trail in international economic cooperation and take the Sino-Saudi capacity cooperation to the next level.
